This issue carries a profile of the Solapur textile cluster; a case study on how, under the long-term project supported by SDC, TERI successfully promoted energy efficient technologies and practices in the Firozabad glass industry cluster; and key features of the project titled ‘Achieving reduction in GHG emissions through advanced energy efficient technology in electric motors’ supported by UNDP, GEF and BEE and implemented by International Copper Promotion Council of India.
