Jamshedpur chemical cluster (Jharkhand)

Introduction

The Jamshedpur chemical cluster comprises 80 MSME units of which about 72 are in operation. All these units are located in Adityapur, Gamharia, Sonari, Sidhgora, Mango, Baridih, Sakchi and Bistupur industrial areas. About 20% of the units have production capacities below 200 tonnes per year (tpy); 40% between 200 and 1000 tpy; and the remaining 40% above 1000 tpy.
