Kochi seafood processing cluster (Kerala)

Introduction

The port city of Kochi, in Kerala, hosts an important seafood processing cluster. The major products are shrimp, squid, cuttlefish, octopus, crab, clams, mussels, etc. There are around 35 seafood processing units in the cluster, whose production capacities range from 456 tonnes per annum (tpa) to 46,500 tpa.
